RMC Chemical Engineering Students Place 2nd overall in Ontario Engineering Competition Bio-Engineering Category

RMC Chemical Engineering Students OCdt Nikhita Antil (President RMC Engineering Society) and NCdt Kaira Pitag place 2nd overall in Ontario Engineering Competition Bio-Engineering Category.

This past weekend the RMC Engineering Society sent the top teams of the RMC Annual Engineering Competition to the Ontario Engineering Competition (hosted by Queens University). The event is an excellent experience for cadets and gives them an opportunity to demonstrate the overall excellence of the RMC engineering program and our engineering students.

The Ontario Engineering Competition (OEC) is an annual student-run, three-day competition that brings together more than 300 of the province’s brightest students. Competitors demonstrate their engineering skills in a competitive environment, while also developing meaningful relationships with their peers. Over the past 45 years, the competition has grown to become one of the largest and highly anticipated engineering competitions in Canada.

Congratulations to RMC Engineering Students OCdt Nikhita Antil and NCdt Kaira Pitag on their 2nd place finish overall in the Bio-Engineering category.

The RMC Alumni Association is proud to have supported the Engineering Students in this competition since 2016.
