Anonymous Donor from the Class of 1955 Provides Scholarship Opportunity to Canada’s Future Leaders

For the past 39 years, this donor from the Class of 1955 has provided more than $225,000 in support of projects benefiting the leadership and character development of our future leaders of Canada.  More importantly over $212,000 of which went into his Endowment to support Mechanical Engineer and Aerospace Post Graduates.

Here is a note below from one of the recipients of his award and his gratitude for the Scholarship:

Dear Anonymous Benefactor,

I would like to thank you for your donation to the “Mech and Aero PG Scholarship”.  Your scholarship helps me worry less about finances and allows me to focus on my studies and research.  Your anonymous donation shows you are truly an altruistic person; you impact society in such a positive way and forego the public recognition.  It’s inspirational.  I hope to one day find myself in a position where I can “Pay it forward” through a similar act of generosity.  Until then I will do my best to produce research that has the potential to move the aerospace industry forward.

On behalf of all current and past RMC students, I would like to thank you for your generosity.

Regards,

Nick Proulx
