Nominations Open for AWOD’s 10th Class

Over the last decade, the Royal Military College of Canada Athletics Wall of Distinction has been identifying and honouring those who have brought distinction to the Canadian Military Colleges and the CAF through sport.

Soon, the time will come to determine the 10th class to be inducted into the Athletics Wall of Distinction. The Class of 2027 will be carefully selected over the next couple of months, which means if you, or anyone you know, should be considered for this honour, the time to submit their nomination is now.

To nominate someone, go to gopaladinsgo.ca and fill out the AWOD Nomination form.

Nominations will close on November 15, 2026.

Last year, the AWOD inducted former Olympian, Mike Ashcroft, all-around athlete and CFL draft pick, Bob Mason, and 51-time fencing medalist, Chantel Helwer.

Amongst its three categories, athlete, team and builder, the Athletic Wall of Distinction has honoured 32 recipients thus far.

Now we wait to see who will be added to that list as a member of the Class of 2027.
