Alumni and current Cadets – come celebrate the season together!
Whether you are a graduate of a Canadian Military College or a current Officer or Naval Cadet, you are warmly invited to join the Vancouver Island Branch, along with your families and guests. Military college applicants are welcome too! This is an event for the whole CMC community, past and present.
The Vancouver Island Ex-Cadet Club, hosted by President 9318 David Bindernagel and club members, invites you to the annual reception and luncheon on Monday, 28 December 2026, at 11:30 AM at The Union Club of British Columbia.
The luncheon is a chance to share Yuletide cheer. Alumni can reconnect with old friends and meet the Cadets who are carrying on with the tradition. Current Cadets can mingle with those who have “gone before” and with fellow Cadets, and families and guests are welcome to meet one another and take part in the celebration.
Schedule: The event begins at 11:30 AM with a Meet and Greet, followed by a Luncheon Buffet at 12:30 PM. No host bar will be available, with refreshments for purchase.
Cost: Current Naval and Officer Cadets of the Colleges and two family members or guests attend free (RSVP required). Invited Military College applicants and two family members or guests also attend free (they must have a file open with a recruiting centre and RSVP). Ex-Cadets and all others pay $65 per person, with tax and gratuity included (RSVP required).
RSVP: Please RSVP by noon on Friday, 18 December, with the names of attendees and guests, to the VIECC Event Coordinator, 6216 LCol Willy Anderson, by email at [email protected]. Please include any special requests for dietary needs, mobility challenges or similar needs with your RSVP.
Dress: Business suit or equivalent.
