Historic Women’s Military Rugby Showdown: CAF Takes on the British Army at TD Place

For the first time, the CAF Women’s Rugby Team will take on the British Army Women—two allied forces meeting as opponents on the pitch in the highest-profile Canadian Armed Forces rugby match in a generation.

Cheer on these exceptional military athletes, including CMC alumni on the CAF roster as they play for their teammates, their uniform and every woman who follows in their footsteps.

Friday, October 23
Kickoff: 3:15 p.m.
TD Place Stadium, Ottawa

One ticket. Two women’s rugby matches. The CAF Women’s Rugby Team takes on the British Army Women at 3:15 p.m., before Canada’s Women’s Rugby Team faces England at 7 p.m. an incredible doubleheader for the price of one ticket.

Canada and England last met in the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup final, where the Red Roses defeated Canada 33–13 before a record crowd at Twickenham. Now, Canada has the opportunity to face the reigning world champions on home soil in Ottawa.

📅 Hosted by Rugby Canada and the Canadian Armed Forces. For more team profiles follow the CAF Women’s Rugby team on their social media accounts.
