The Royal Military Colleges Alumni Association Inc. (RMCAA) invites you to bring your expertise and enthusiasm to our Board of Directors!<\/p>\n<p>Formed in 2021 through the merger of the Royal Military Colleges Club of Canada and the Royal Military Colleges Foundation Inc., the RMCAA is a dynamic charitable organization dedicated to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recognizing excellence in students at Canadian Military Colleges.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the Colleges through funding for programs and infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>Promoting Canada\u2019s interest in a strong military by developing leadership in students.<\/li>\n<li>Preserving the rich history and traditions of the Canadian Military Colleges through engagement with students, alumni and the public.<\/li>\n<li>Protecting and commemorating the monuments and heritage sites that connect us to our past.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In a short time, we&#8217;ve successfully integrated our predecessor organizations and made significant strides in achieving our goals. In 2025, we invested over $2 million in support of our charitable objects. We&#8217;re also embarking on an exciting fundraising campaign to establish a Museum that will honor the proud legacy of the Canadian Military Colleges.<\/p>\n<p>The RMCAA is also a strong advocate for the Colleges. Our thoughtful response to the Canadian Military Colleges Review Board (CMCRB) was seriously considered, with many of our points reflected in the Board\u2019s final report and recommendations for the future of the Colleges.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently seeking 2 to 4 passionate and skilled individuals to join our Board of Directors. Successful candidates will play a vital role in guiding the RMCAA as we move forward. These positions will be presented for election at the Annual General Meeting on October 28, 2026, at the Royal Canadian Military Institute in Toronto, ON<\/p>\n<p>Any person who has attended a Canadian Military College as a student (under-graduate and graduate) or as a participant in any certificate granting program is a member of the RMCAA and eligible to become a director.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Non-profit governance as a lawyer or a CPA<\/li>\n<li>Public policy, particularly public infrastructure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>As a member of our Board, you will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend approximately 4-5 Board meetings per year.<\/li>\n<li>Actively participate in 1 or 2 Board committees.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership in specific task areas, such as:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>\u00c0 venir<\/li>\n<li>Branch relations<\/li>\n<li>Partnerships<\/li>\n<li>Policy Development<\/li>\n<li>Large donor development<\/li>\n<li>Small donor development<\/li>\n<li>Special projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of the Royal Military Colleges and connect with a dedicated community of alumni. En 2025, nous avons investi plus de 2\u00a0millions de dollars pour nous rapprocher de nos objectifs caritatifs. Nous lan\u00e7ons \u00e9galement une importante collecte de fonds en vue de cr\u00e9er un mus\u00e9e qui rendra hommage au fier h\u00e9ritage des Coll\u00e8ges militaires du Canada.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Association des ancien(ne)s des CMR d\u00e9fend aussi ardemment les int\u00e9r\u00eats des Coll\u00e8ges. Notre r\u00e9ponse exhaustive et r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie \u00e0 l\u2019intention de la Commission d\u2019examen des Coll\u00e8ges militaires du Canada a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9rieusement prise en compte, et bon nombre de nos points ont \u00e9t\u00e9 repris dans le rapport final de la Commission et dans ses recommandations pour l\u2019avenir des Coll\u00e8ges.<\/p>\n<p>Nous sommes actuellement \u00e0 la recherche de 2 \u00e0 4\u00a0personnes passionn\u00e9es et comp\u00e9tentes qui viendraient grossir les rangs de notre conseil d\u2019administration. Les personnes dont la candidature sera retenue joueront un r\u00f4le essentiel dans l\u2019orientation de l\u2019Association des ancien(ne)s des CMR. Ces postes seront soumis \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lection lors de l\u2019assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale annuelle qui se tiendra le 28\u00a0octobre\u00a02026 au Royal Canadian Military Institute de Toronto\u00a0(Ontario).<\/p>\n<p>Toute personne ayant fr\u00e9quent\u00e9 un Coll\u00e8ge militaire canadien en tant qu\u2019\u00e9tudiant ou \u00e9tudiante (premier cycle et deuxi\u00e8me cycle) ou en tant que participant ou participante \u00e0 un programme menant \u00e0 l\u2019obtention d\u2019un certificat est membre de l\u2019Association des ancien(ne)s des CMR et admissible \u00e0 un poste d\u2019administrateur ou d\u2019administratrice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nous sommes particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ress\u00e9s par des candidats et candidates ayant une expertise dans les domaines suivants\u00a0:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gouvernance d\u2019organisations \u00e0 but non lucratif en tant qu\u2019avocat ou CPA<\/li>\n<li>Politiques publiques, en particulier les infrastructures publiques<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Vos responsabilit\u00e9s en tant que membre du conseil d\u2019administration\u00a0:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assister \u00e0 quatre ou \u00e0 cinq r\u00e9unions du conseil d\u2019administration par an.<\/li>\n<li>Participer activement \u00e0 un ou \u00e0 deux comit\u00e9s du conseil d\u2019administration.<\/li>\n<li>Assurer le leadership dans des domaines d\u2019activit\u00e9 pr\u00e9cis.
