RMC Badging and Reunion Weekend September 18-19 2026 – 150 Years of Contribution to Canada<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Formal RMC 150th Program\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

2026 marks 150 years of operation of the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) as well as the service and contribution of its graduates to our country.<\/p>\n

Since June 1876, over 20,000 naval and officer cadets of RMC have graduated from the Regular Officer Training Plan and the University Training Plan for Non-Commissioned Members, over 5,000 Canadian and international military students from Graduate Studies and over 1,000 other Canadians completed bachelor\u2019s degrees, thanks to the staff and faculty of the internationally recognized military academy for its research.<\/p>\n

These graduates continue to contribute and lead in varied ways around the world, and their leadership is deeply ingrained in Canada\u2019s international legacy.<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s graduates represent the diversity of modern Canada and remain anchored in the timeless values of \u2018Truth, Duty, Valour\u2019 embedded in the Canadian military ethos and the motto of this proud institution.<\/p>\n

The sesquicentennial of RMC provides an opportunity to reflect on the College\u2019s contributions nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n

It enables the celebration of its evolution as a strong, proud, equitable, diverse, and inclusive national institution, where we strive to instill the Canadian Armed Forces ethos and values to the next generation of leaders.<\/p>\n

L’ann\u00e9e 2026 marque les 150 ans d’existence du Coll\u00e8ge militaire royal du Canada (CMR) ainsi que le service et la contribution de ses dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s \u00e0 notre pays.<\/p>\n

Depuis juin 1876, plus de 20 000 \u00e9l\u00e8ves-officiers et \u00e9l\u00e8ves-offici\u00e8res du CMR ont \u00e9t\u00e9 dipl\u00f4m\u00e9\u00b7es du Plan de formation des officiers de la Force r\u00e9guli\u00e8re et du Plan de formation universitaire pour les militaires du rang, plus de 5 000 \u00e9tudiants militaires canadiens et internationaux ont compl\u00e9t\u00e9s des \u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures et plus de 1 000 baccalaur\u00e9ats ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cern\u00e9es \u00e0 d’autres Canadiens, gr\u00e2ce au personnel et au corps enseignant de l’acad\u00e9mie militaire reconnue internationalement pour ses travaux de recherche.<\/p>\n

Ces dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s continuent de contribuer et de diriger de diverses mani\u00e8res dans le monde entier, et leur leadership est profond\u00e9ment ancr\u00e9 dans l’h\u00e9ritage international du Canada.<\/p>\n

Les dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s d’aujourd’hui repr\u00e9sentent la diversit\u00e9 du Canada moderne et restent ancr\u00e9s dans les valeurs intemporelles de \u00ab V\u00e9rit\u00e9, Devoir, Vaillance \u00bb, qui font partie de l’\u00e9thique militaire canadienne et de la devise de cette fi\u00e8re institution.<\/p>\n

Le sesquicentenaire du CMR est l’occasion de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir aux contributions du Coll\u00e8ge \u00e0 l’\u00e9chelle nationale et internationale.<\/p>\n

Il permet de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer son \u00e9volution en tant qu’institution nationale forte, fi\u00e8re, \u00e9quitable, diversifi\u00e9e et inclusive, o\u00f9 nous nous effor\u00e7ons d’inculquer l’\u00e9thos et les valeurs des Forces arm\u00e9es canadiennes \u00e0 la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de leaders.<\/p>\n

New for RMC Reunion Weekend 2026 \u2013 The RMC Reunion Pin Program<\/strong><\/p>\n

The RMC Alumni Association is proud to introduce the Reunion Pin Program<\/strong>, debuting at RMC Reunion Weekend this September. This new initiative celebrates the enduring connection between alumni and the College, recognizing milestone reunions and inviting graduates to reconnect, reminisce, and honour their shared experience.<\/p>\n

Custom-designed pins have been created to mark each formal reunion milestone\u2014from 5 years since graduation through to 70 years\u2014offering a meaningful way to celebrate these important anniversaries.<\/p>\n

Alumni celebrating a milestone reunion this year are encouraged to register in advance at the following link: \u00a0https:\/\/www.cognitoforms.com\/RMCAlumniAssociation1\/RMCReunionWeekendRegistrationForm2026FormulaireFinDeSemaineDesAnciennesInscription2026<\/a> <\/strong><\/p>\n

Pins will be available for pick-up in person only during RMC Reunion Weekend<\/strong>, at a dedicated booth located near the Senior Staff Mess on Saturday, September 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The booth will be hosted by members of the RMC Alumni Association Board of Directors, creating an added opportunity to connect with fellow alumni and Association leaders during the weekend\u2019s festivities.<\/p>\n

D\u00e9fil\u00e9 de l'arche comm\u00e9morative<\/span> – Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. from the parade square, 15 Valour Dr.\u00a0to the Memorial Arch, 3 Valor Dr.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This event serves as traditions that foster bonds between current and former RMC cadets. It is scheduled to start with the parade formation taking place on the parade square followed by a memorial service at the century old Memorial Arch, immediately after the conclusion of the Badging Parade. The Memorial Arch was donated to RMC by the Ex-Cadet organization in 1924.\u00a0It records the names of all ex-Cadets who have lost their lives in operations in the service of Canada.<\/p>\n
