The Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) placed 2<\/span>nd<\/sup><\/span>\u00a0amongst\u00a0<\/span><\/a>48 participating teams from 15 countries at the 57th<\/sup><\/span>\u00a0Annual Sandhurst Military Skills Competition\u00a0<\/span>held at the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point, N.Y., on Friday and Saturday.<\/span><\/div>\n

The two-day skills competition\u00a0<\/span><\/a>typically includes approximately 43 kilometres of navigation across difficult terrain, weapons handling, rifle marksmanship, combat swim (in full gear), trauma care \/ first aid, problem solving and leadership challenges.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

Military academies from around the world participate in the prestigious annual Sandhurst competition, which dates back to 1967.\u00a0<\/span>RMC has an exemplary record at the competition, having placed first four times since 2006.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
