{"id":29668,"date":"2020-12-12T10:30:14","date_gmt":"2020-12-12T15:30:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rmcalumni.ca\/?p=29668"},"modified":"2021-02-24T18:10:59","modified_gmt":"2021-02-24T23:10:59","slug":"member-of-the-class-of-1962-reaches-1-million-in-donations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rmcalumni.ca\/en\/member-of-the-class-of-1962-reaches-1-million-in-donations\/","title":{"rendered":"Member of the Class of 1962 reaches $1 Million in Donations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Class of 1962 has done it again, adding another classmate to the list of Board of Governor donors (Lifetime donations of $1 million or more).\u00a0 With this recent donation, the Class now exceeds over $4.8 million in cumulative class giving.<\/p>\n<p>Last week <strong>5507 Jack Peltier<\/strong> made a generous donation to the RMC Foundation in support of our future leaders.\u00a0 Jack and his wife Irene have been generous donors to the RMC Foundation since 1993 providing funding to our Truth Duty Valour Fund, the Class of 1962 Endowment, the RMC Expedition Club Kilimanjaro Trip, the RMC Battlefield Tour,\u00a0 and Recreational Clubs at the Colleges.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Peltier\u2019s name will now be added to the other list of major donors on our Board of Governors cumulative lifetime giving circle including fellow classmate\u00a0 5586 Ian Mottershead, H7076 John and Beth van Haastrecht (1966),\u00a0 and 2652 Britt Smith (1938).<\/p>\n<p>Thank you Jack for your continued support to the future leaders of Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Truth, Duty, Valour<\/p>\n<p>[meta_gallery_slider]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Class of 1962 has done it again, adding another classmate to the list of Board of Governor donors (Lifetime donations of $1 million or more).\u00a0 With this recent donation, the Class now exceeds over $4.8 million in cumulative class giving.
