On behalf of the membership of the Vancouver Island Ex-cadet Club, I would like to extend to the entire Military College community our very best wishes for the upcoming holiday season, and for health and happiness throughout the coming year.

The Club also wishes to advise that it will be hosting the annual “Host the Cadets” reception and luncheon for Cadets of the Royal Military Colleges of Canada, military college aspirants, Ex-Cadets and their guests on Thursday, 28 December 2023 at 11:30 am at the Union Club of British Columbia, 805 Gordon Street, Victoria, B.C. All alumni of our Canadian Military Colleges

If you are going to be in the Halifax area over the holiday season, you and a guest are most cordially invited to join the Atlantic Branch of the Royal Military Colleges of Canada Alumni Association in celebrating the joy of the holiday season on Thursday December 28th from noon until 3:00 p.m. in the newly-renovated Royal Artillery Park Officers Mess in Halifax. Details and invitations are on the Branch website

As has become our tradition, invitations to our Holiday Reception have also been sent to cadets currently at the Colleges and their parents, as well as to candidates to the Colleges and their parents. Please join and encourage conversations between cadets, candidates and parents.

Si vous prévoyez être dans la région d’Halifax pendant la période des Fêtes, vous et un invité êtes cordialement invités à vous joindre au Chapitre Atlantique de l’Association des anciens des Collèges militaires royaux du Canada pour célébrer la joie de la période des Fêtes le jeudi 28 décembre à partir de midi jusqu’à 15h00 dans le mess des officiers du Royal Artillery Park, récemment rénové, à Halifax. Comme c’est devenu notre tradition, des invitations à notre réception du temps des Fêtes ont également été envoyées aux cadets actuellement aux Collèges et à leurs parents, ainsi qu’aux candidats aux Collèges et à leurs parents. Veuillez joindre et encourager les conversations entre les cadets, les candidats et les parents.

Hamilton Branch

Once again, the Hamilton Branch RMC Alumni Association will be holding an annual meet and greet at HMCS STAR in Hamilton on December 21st.  The event will include an informal reception starting at 1830 until 2100. The purpose of the evening is to connect current serving local cadets with Ex Cadets to share stories and pass along news from the school.  It is also a great way for prospective cadets to learn more about RMC and what adventures lay ahead during and after their RMC experience.  Family and friends of current and prospective cadets are encouraged to attend.  Light food will be available along with a cash bar for those over 19 years.

Location of HMCS STAR 

Enter the main gates for HMCS STAR located of of the Dock Service Road and turn an immediate left after the guard shack.  Follow around to the end of the building, with the entrance being on the northwest side of the building.  Be wary of the one way streets on John and Wellington.
